You need a high quality log home, designed by knowledgeable staff, who can then transform your concept into construction plans.  Ayrewood Log Homes  uses the most technically advanced log home cad (computer aided design) software. This ensures that your log home plans will be precise and that all levels of manufacturing and assembly will flow smoothly. 

Optional design services that we provide are 3-D photo realistic renderings (exterior or interior) , fly-bys and walk-throughs. If you use the internet , we can post your plans in real time, for your at home viewing.

Ayrewood Log Homes specializes in custom designing log homes.  If you have not already come up with your plans, we would like to describe what works the best for those of you who are trying to come up with that perfect log home plan. 

Firstly, you should research log homes as much as is practically possible (log home magazines, log home shows, log home sites on the internet, visiting manufacturers and so forth). Study available log home plans -- see Ayrewood log home's plan book on this site. Assemble a folder of cut outs, designs and features you like ---- call it your ideas folder.  Add personal notes, sketches, and even photographs of homes you like, to this folder as required.   Also note that we can design a log home from a set of conventional home plans, that you like.  Mark up any changes you want on plans (log or conventional) you find. Make photo copies of the contents of this ideas folder, and mail us a copy.  

From your ideas folder, and by working with you,  we can custom design your home.  We first prepare preliminary log home plans , which are sent to you. you then have total freedom to make revisions and then send back to us. We update the preliminaries, based on your requests, and then send the updated plans  back to you for approval. This process continues until you have  the plans  that you  dreamed of.  At this stage, we then contact  your local county building authorities,  to find out all requirements, for submitting completed plans for permit. Then the final construction drawings are completed.  We can also arrange to have your plans engineered and sealed in any state or province. In states/counties requiring energy calculations, we will arrange this for you as part of the home design process, ensuring your final plans meet all necessary requirements for permitting.
